Bowtex was founded by a passionate motorcycle rider who didn't find an adequate solution to his problem, riding safe while keeping his own style. He then went on to develop a protective base layer that could be worn under his favorite pair of jeans, and the rest is history!

REACHING FOR THE BEST
We want to create products that are tough and durable, but also light, flexible, breathable and yet extremely resistant. Unlike traditional manufacturer, we use high end technical fibers and fabrics such as Dupont™ Kevlar® and Dyneema®. These allow us to obtain high certification results without being heavy or hot while maintaining a high level of comfort, which also contributes to your safety.

MAKE IT LOCAL
Bowtex is a Brussels based company. Our main priority has always been to work with local partners, all based in Western Europe. This way, we have managed to build strong, long lasting relationships with our suppliers and we are able to maintain a high level of quality by keeping greater control over the quality of each component. Working with local suppliers also allows us to carry transport via trucks, therefore helping to reduce CO2 emissions and contributing to the local and European economy.

The Bowtex team are avid motorcycle riders. It\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s part of our DNA and is something that we don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t see ourselves live without. We live through all the aspects of motorcycle riding, and are therefore well positioned to create products that solve problems that rider encounter on their journeys. Whether they are to work and back, or across the globe.
