The Beginning. One problem. One solution
Bowtex's journey began with a personal quest for freedom and safety on the road. In 2014, Robert Souery, a Belgian native, obtained his motorcycle license in Sydney, Australia. Experiencing the exhilaration of riding, he quickly recognized a gap in the market: the lack of protective gear that didn't compromise on style or comfort. Frustrated by the bulky and conspicuous motorcycle apparel available, Robert envisioned a solution that would allow riders to wear their everyday clothes without sacrificing safety. Returning to Belgium, Robert embarked on developing a line of protective underlayers. By early 2015, Bowtex introduced its first product: yellow protective leggings designed to be worn discreetly under regular clothing. These leggings offered riders the freedom to maintain their personal style while ensuring safety on the road.

Bowtex's innovation didn't stop there. The company expanded its product line to include protective shirts and other gear, all designed with the same philosophy: combining safety, comfort, and style. Utilizing advanced materials like Dyneema® and DuPont™ Kevlar®, Bowtex products provide high levels of abrasion resistance while remaining lightweight and flexible.
